Clematis

After taking a gardening class with my girlfriend I wanted to have a little garden on my balcony. I love the hybiscus flower, but I wasn’t sure it would grow well here, so with my friends encouragement, I thought I’d try to grow a Clematis. I researched the types of clematis and found the one I wanted to get, the trouble was to find out where I could get it! One of the shops in town just happened to have one, and only one! After planting it nicely at home and trying to take care of it, I wasn’t sure how well it would do. I took a picture of this first blossom because I was not sure if i would get any more this summer. Thankfully we do have a second flower now, and we will see what will happen yet the rest of the summer! Isn’t if beautiful?!
